Understanding U.S. v. Rahimi: Practical Considerations

In June 2024, in the U.S. v. Rahimi case, the U.S. Supreme Court held constitutional a 30-year-old federal law that has kept firearms out of the hands of abusers subject to a domestic violence protection order. This webinar summarizes the case and the Court's decision, as well as identifies practical considerations for courts, attorneys, prosecutors, law enforcement, victim advocates and others for implementing this domestic violence firearm prohibition in light of the Rahimi decision.
